Logo & Brand Identity

Building a brand for Women's Entrepreneurship at Northeastern University
Northeastern University is ripe for Entrepreneurship, with student-led career focused organizations. However, many identified that the female representation within this entrepreneurial ecosystem was limited, “3 in 10 were women”. Through extensive research to test the status quo, the underlying reason was that women felt intimidated and a lack of confidence in a male dominated ecosystem.
WISE, the Women’s Interdisciplinary Society of Entrepreneurship; aims to increase the female representation within the Entrepreneurial ecosystem. WISE offers workshops and mentorship programs to increase the confidence of young women. As a founding member of WISE, I was responsible for establishing our brand strategy that lay a foundation for our future goals, vision and values. I created our logo and visual design system that will be sustained for future female leaders at Northeastern University.

Visual Brand Guidelines
As we set a foundation for our mission and brand values, I made sure to catalogue our developments so that future members would have operational guardrails to work in. A central part of my process was creating a set of brand guidelines that laid out the organization’s visual elements and established a clear set of rules for its proper implementation.
